George Morris — Chairman
Arel Communications and Software

George Morris was appointed Chairman of Arel's board of directors in July 2004. As a member of the board and consultant for Arel, George contributed his business acumen, financial prowess and strategic vision for the company since January of 2004. During his tenure as the Chief Financial Officer of the Iams Company, the global pet food company was acquired by Procter and Gamble in 1999. George has also held senior executive positions at the Borden Corporation and General Foods Corporation. Today, he is a member of the board of directors and a consultant for several companies in the fields of business strategy, corporate governance and finance. George holds a bachelors degree in business administration in accounting from St. Bonaventure University, an MBA from New York University, and studied in the advanced management program at the Amos Tuck Graduate Business School at Dartmouth College.

Philippe Szwarc — Chief Executive Officer
Arel Communications and Software

Philippe Szwarc was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Arel in June 2002. With over ten years experience as a senior executive in various telecommunications markets such as IP infrastructure, wireless Internet and enterprise networking, Philippe has a proven track record in developing companies toward high-revenue growth and profitability and in identifying new market opportunities. His tenure in the telecommunications field encompasses experience running operations across the globe including businesses in the United States, Europe and Asia. Prior to Arel, Philippe spent seven years working for MRV Communications (NASDAQ: MRVC), a world leader in optical components and networking, where he led four operational units and managed more than ten mergers and acquisitions. His involvement with MRV has included roles as Chief Executive Officer of iTouch Communications (formerly Xyplex Networks) from 1998 until 2000, and Chief Executive Officer of NBase Communications, a leader in LAN switching solutions, from 1995 until 1997. Priot to that, Philippe held the position of sales manager at Lannet Data Communications, a pioneer in data communications, which was acquired by Lucent Technologies in 1999. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a MBA from INSEAD, the European Institute of Business Administration.




Daniel Yelin — Chief Financial Officer
Arel Communications and Software

Daniel Yelin joined Arel in August 2002 with over thirteen years of financial and operations experience both with publicly traded and private companies. Prior to joining Arel, Daniel served as Senior Vice President of Operations in the United States for Sphera Corp., a venture funded enterprise software company. Between 1998 and 2000, he served as CFO and COO of WorldSite Inc., an Internet business developer. Between 1996 and 1998 Daniel served as Corporate Controller for MRV Communications, a NASDAQ traded company (MRVC), and prior to that he served as CFO for Nbase Communications Ltd., an MRV subsidiary. Daniel holds a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Management from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from INSEAD, the European Institute of Business Administration.




Moshe Ben-Yishai — President
Arel Communications and Software, Inc.

Moshe Ben-Yishai joined Arel as Executive Vice President of Marketing & Sales in 1996. In 1998 he was instrumental in establishing Arel Communications and Software, Inc. In this capacity, he has been responsible for spearheading the marketing and distribution in the North America and Canada. Prior to joining Arel, Moshe worked for 10 years at Orbit Advanced Technologies in Israel. Moshe earned a BSME degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from New York.
Prior to joining Arel, he worked for 10 years at Orbit Advanced Technologies, Netanya, Israel.




Eran Kariti — Vice President, Research & Development
Arel Communications and Software

Eran Kariti is recognized in Israel’s high-tech industry as one of the top specialists in Internet technologies. He was appointed Vice President of Research and Development in July 2000. Eran comes to Arel with more than 10 years of experience in establishing and managing R&D divisions in leading Israeli companies. Prior to joining Arel, he headed R&D, as well as being one of the founders of Hypernix, an Israeli start-up which was valued at $150M. Prior to this, Eran was the chief consultant for a number of Israeli start-ups developing data communications and Internet technologies. He also served as chief liaison between the Israeli Air Force and external security and communications-based industries.




Eric Le Guiniec — Vice President, EMEA
Arel Communications and Software

Eric joined Arel in January 2004 as Vice President, EMEA. He brings to Arel extensive international sales and management experience, along with in-depth knowledge of conferencing and networking products. Prior to joining Arel, Eric held several positions at First Virtual Communications (FVC) in the U.S. and Europe. As FVC’s Vice President of EMEA Sales, Eric was responsible for establishing European operations and managing all aspects of sales, pre-sales and business development across EMEA. Prior to FVC, he spearheaded the sales operation in France at Tekelec Europe for the company’s service provider products. Eric’s 16 year track record as a sales professional includes several successful European product launches, along with developing both indirect and direct channel strategies for working with major enterprise accounts, service providers, carriers, and telecom equipment suppliers. Mr. Le Guiniec holds a BS in Sales and Marketing from the Valenciennes University and an engineering degree in Computer Science from IUT Ville d’Avray of France.
